LatamPaper will return to Mexico City on June 9–10, 2027, bringing together Latin American papermakers and international technology suppliers.
The event will again be held at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma and will take place together with LatamCORR Mexico 2027, focused on the corrugated board manufacturing and converting industry.
LatamPaper brings together professionals from paper, board and tissue mills and tissue converting plants with international suppliers of machinery, equipment, consumables, technology and specialized services for the industry.
Mexico, an Important Location for the Latam Paper Industry
Mexico has a strong paper, board, tissue and converting industry and is closely integrated with the North American manufacturing market through the USMCA / T-MEC trade framework.
Its location also makes Mexico City a practical meeting point for international suppliers interested in developing business in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, the Andean region and other Latin American markets.
Meet the People Who Make the Decisions
One of LatamPaper's main characteristics is the profile of the professionals attending the event.
Participants from manufacturing plants include:
- Owners, CEOs, directors and general managers
- Plant managers
- Production, operations and maintenance managers
- Process and engineering professionals
- Project, technical and purchasing professionals
These are the people who evaluate technology, work with equipment and production processes, plan projects and participate in purchasing decisions.
This gives suppliers the opportunity to discuss technologies, plant challenges and future projects directly with the professionals involved in their application and selection, not just a passerby.
Building on Argentina 2026
The most recent LatamPaper/LatamCORR edition was held in Buenos Aires in May 2026.
The combined event registered 490 participants from 30 countries, including more than 330 manufacturers and converters representing 168 registered plants and companies.
The event also brought together international suppliers and technology companies in an active two-day program of technical discussions, professional networking and meetings between manufacturers and suppliers.
LatamPaper and LatamCORR were first held together in Mexico in 2024. The joint format continued in Argentina in 2026 and will return to Mexico City in 2027.
A Mid-Size Event Built for Professional Interaction
LatamPaper is deliberately kept at a medium size.
Rather than using traditional exhibition booths, suppliers participate through a Tabletop format, with similar exhibition spaces for all participating companies.
This makes it easier for manufacturers, converters and suppliers to meet several times during the event and have longer and more useful conversations.
The Tabletop exhibition is complemented by technical presentations and professional networking activities where participants can discuss operating challenges, new technology and possible solutions.
LatamPaper and LatamCORR Together
Holding LatamPaper and LatamCORR at the same venue gives suppliers serving different sectors access to a broader manufacturing audience.
Together, the events bring professionals from:
- Paper and board mills
- Tissue mills
- Tissue converting plants
- Corrugated board manufacturers and corrugated box plants
Each event maintains its own industrial focus, while participants benefit from the wider professional network created by having both industries together.
LatamPaper has previously been held in Mexico in 2021 and 2024.
